Toronto stocks open higher, helped by resources
TORONTO, Dec 28 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index climbed at the open on Friday, boosted by strength in resource shares on the back of higher gold and oil prices.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 41.06 points, or 0.3 percent, at 13,716.63 just after the open with seven of the TSX's 10 main groups on the upside. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; editing by Janet Guttsman)
