Toronto stocks open higher, helped by resources

 TORONTO, Dec 28 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's
main index climbed at the open on Friday, boosted by strength
in resource shares on the back of higher gold and oil prices.
 The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 41.06 points,
or 0.3 percent, at 13,716.63 just after the open with seven of
the TSX's 10 main groups on the upside.
