CANADA STOCKS-TSX turns negative, commodities reverse course

TORONTO, Jan 30 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index turned negative on Friday as an early rush into weighty commodities groups was undone.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE fell 7.85 points to 8,754.91, erasing the 1.5 percent jump at the open. Six of the index's 10 main groups were lower. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng)
