CANADA STOCKS-Resource shares drive TSX to near 7-week high
TORONTO, July 22 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock market index closed at its highest point in almost seven weeks on Friday, buoyed by rising commodity prices that drove material and energy issues higher.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed up 60.33 points, or 0.45 percent, at 13,494.63. (Reporting by Trish Nixon; Editing by Jeffrey Hodgson)
