CANADA STOCKS-TSX closes up more than 1 pct in broad rally
TORONTO, Aug 15 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock market index rallied to its highest close in more than a week on Monday, driven by bargain-hunting, optimism over the euro zone debt crisis and acquisition activity on both sides of the border.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially ended up 141.41 points, or 1.13 percent, at 12,683.61. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney; editing by Peter Galloway)
