CANADA STOCKS-TSX tracks U.S. shares, oil up on Buffett deal

 TORONTO, Aug 25 (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock market index opened firmer on Thursday, tracking oil prices and U.S. stock markets higher after Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway Inc (BRKa.N) said it would invest $5 billion in Bank of America Corp (BAC.N).
  The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE opened up 2.08 points at 12,345.89 and then extended gains.  (Reporting by Claire Sibonney; editing by Peter Galloway)
