CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens lower on euro zone doubts
TORONTO, Oct 20 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened lower on Thursday as ongoing speculation about the euro zone's plan to resolve the region's debt crisis failed to provide clarity to the markets.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE opened down 8.63 points, or 0.07 percent, at 11,840.87. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney; editing by Peter Galloway)
