CANADA STOCKS-TSX rallies to end higher; helped by firm earnings
TORONTO Oct 26 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index staged an afternoon rally to finish higher on Wednesday, boosted by some solid U.S. earnings and details that emerged from Europe about how the region plans to tackle its debt crisis.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE ended up 76.31 points, or 0.63 percent, at 12,186.06. (Reporting by Jon Cook; Editing by Jeffrey Hodgson)
