CANADA STOCKS-TSX turns positive in tentative trading
TORONTO, Oct 28 (Reuters) - The Toronto stock market's main index straddled the break-even point in early action on Friday.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE firmed 6.28 points, or 0.1 percent, to 12,471.72, after opening down 4.39 points, or 0.4 percent, at 12,461.05.
The tentative trading came a day after the TSX hit a near two-month high on investor optimism following Europe's latest debt crisis plan. (Reporting by Jon Cook; Editing by Peter Galloway)
