TORONTO Feb 22 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index turned lower on Wednesday morning after hitting a five-month high the previous session as financial issues were hurt by weak data from the euro zone and China.

At 11:45 a.m. (1645 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index was slightly below the previous session's close at 12,623.16.
