CANADA STOCKS-TSX turns positive as Viterra shares jump
TORONTO, March 12 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index turned positive shortly after the open on Monday as its big materials sector pared losses and shares of Viterra Inc jumped on takeover talk.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index edged up 0.23 of a point to 12,503.85. It had opened down 1.34 points at 12,502.28.
