CANADA STOCKS-TSX edges up in wake of positive U.S. data

TORONTO, March 15 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index edged up after a choppy start on Thursday, helped by a stream of U.S. data that signaled the economy of Canada’s largest trading partner continues to mend.

The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index rose 12.43 points to 12,390.33 shortly after opening weaker.
