TSX extends rally, up 1 pct after 5-day selloff

TORONTO, April 11 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index rebounded more than 1 percent on Wednesday in a broad-based rally following five straight days of losses that took Canadian shares to their lowest level this year.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index rose 121.53 points, or 1.02 percent, to 12,056.82.
