CANADA-STOCKS-TSX turns negative as miners, energy shares slip

TORONTO, April 24 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index briefly turned negative on Tuesday as materials and energy shares reversed gains and investors remained cautious about the financial stability of the euro zone.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index fell 0.48 of a point to 11,988.47, before bouncing back into positive territory.
