1 Min Read

TORONTO, Aug 23 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index closed
lower on Thursday, pushed down by pessimism about Europe and
China data and comments from a U.S. Federal Reserve official
that suggested more stimulus was not a sure thing.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
unofficially closed down 56.48 points, or 0.47
percent, at 12,062.51.
