CANADA STOCKS-TSX turns positive as gold stocks lead gains

TORONTO, March 12 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index rose
in early trade on Tuesday as strong gains made by gold shares,
buoyed by bullion prices that hit a two-week high, offset
worries about the European economy.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
was up 27.63 points, or 0.21 percent, at 12,886.12,
after opening lower.
