CANADA STOCKS-TSX slips more than 1 percent as golds dive

TORONTO, Aug 6 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index
extended its losses in early Tuesday trade, dragged down by
declines in shares of gold producers and in almost every other
major sector.
    At mid-morning, the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX
composite index was down 130.40 points, or 1.03
percent, at 12,472.85.
