TORONTO, Aug 9 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index slipped
in early Friday trade as concerns about potential monetary

economic data out of China.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
was down 9.91 points, or 0.08 percent, at 12,543.01
shortly after the open.
