CANADA STOCKS-TSX falls 800 points on commodity price drop
TORONTO Dec 1 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index fell 800 points on Monday afternoon in a broad selloff led by a slide in resource issues along with commodity prices and as U.S. reports signaled a deepening economic slump.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 804.11 points, or 8.67 percent, at 8,466.51. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Peter Galloway)
