CANADA STOCKS-TSX plunges, led down by resources

TORONTO, Dec 1 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange’s main index plunged more than 9 percent on Monday, ending a six-day winning streak, as falling resource stocks led a broad selloff that hit every market sector.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 876.45 points, or 9.45 percent, at 8,394.17. (Reporting by Cameron French; editing by Peter Galloway)
