CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens lower on weak gold, oil prices
TORONTO Dec 24 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened a shortened session lower on Wednesday as weak gold and energy prices weighed on the market.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 22.95 points, or 0.3 percent, at 8.288.96. (Reporting by Scott Anderson; editing by Peter Galloway)
