Toronto stocks slide as miners weaken

TORONTO, Dec 13 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange’s main index ended lower on Thursday as weak gold and base metals shares kept the market from keeping pace with late-rallying U.S. stocks.

The S&P/TSX composite index fell 66.00 points, or 0.48 percent, to unofficially close at 13,743.38. (Reporting by Cameron French; Editing by Peter Galloway)
