TORONTO, Dec 20 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's
main index ended with a small gain on Thursday as an advance in
materials and tech issues helped offset a slide in banking
shares after a session of mixed activity.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed
up 31.68 points, or 0.24 percent, at 13,421.50.
