Toronto stocks leap 100 pts on strong resources

TORONTO, Dec 28 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index jumped 100 points on Friday morning, boosted by resource issues that climbed with solid gold and oil prices.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 100.48 points, or 0.73 percent, at 13,776.05. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; Editing by Rob Wilson)
