Toronto stocks drop 100 points on resources, banks

TORONTO Jan 7 (Reuters) - Toronto stocks dropped more than 100 points by mid-morning on Monday amid weak resource and banking shares.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 103.85 points, or 0.8 percent, at 13,674.73. ($1=$1.00 Canadian) (Reporting by Scott Anderson; Editing by Bernadette Baum)
