Toronto stocks down as resources, financials fall

TORONTO, Jan 7 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index sank on Monday for the second session in a row, trimming earlier losses but still weighed down by slumping resource and financial issues.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 151.44 points, or 1.1 percent, at 13,627.14. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; Editing by Peter Galloway)
