Toronto stocks slide on economic woes, RIM

TORONTO, Jan 11 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange’s main index ended lower on Friday, dragged down by nagging worries of a recession in the United States and a drop in Research In Motion RIM.TO after an analyst downgrade.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 43.58 points, or 0.32 percent, at 13,599.07. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; Editing by Peter Galloway)
