Toronto stocks plunge for fifth straight session
TORONTO Jan 21 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index suffered a fifth day of heavy losses on Monday as worries over a possible recession in the United States yanked it to its lowest close in more than a year.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 586.64 points, or 4.61 percent, at 12,150.48. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; Editing by Peter Galloway)
