Toronto stock index up 100 points, aided by Agrium

TORONTO, Feb 13 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index rose more than 100 points on Wednesday, gaining steam from hot energy shares and strong results posted by Agrium Inc (AGU.TO).

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 100.64 points, or 0.8 percent, at 13,188.02 with eight of its 10 main sectors in positive terrain. (Reporting by Jonathan Spicer; Editing by Peter Galloway)
