TORONTO Feb 15 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index finished close to flat on Friday as rising gold miners and other materials stocks offset soft banks and disappointing results from Telus Corp (T.TO: Quote).

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed up 7.32 points, or 0.06 percent, at 13,215.35, capping off a week in which it advanced about 1.7 percent. (Reporting by Jonathan Spicer; Editing by Peter Galloway)
