Toronto stocks jump as oil hits record high

TORONTO Feb 19 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index soared on Tuesday, lifted by robust commodities shares, while oil prices vaulted to a record high over $100 a barrel.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed up 194.34 points, or 1.47 percent, at 13,421.10. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; Editing by Peter Galloway)
