Toronto stocks jump on surging commodity prices

TORONTO Feb 20 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index jumped 100 points on Wednesday afternoon, in a rally sparked by oil and gold prices hitting new highs.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 100.85 points, or 0.75 percent, at 13,547.59. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; Editing by Rob Wilson)
