Toronto stocks rise with miners and RIM in lead

TORONTO, Feb 21 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange’s main index jumped out of the gate on Thursday morning, lifted by hot mining shares and index heavyweight Research In Motion RIM.TO, which raised its subscriber outlook.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 105.55 points, or 0.8 percent, at 13,657.24.
