Toronto stocks jump as resources push higher

TORONTO, Feb 26 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index picked up steam on Tuesday, jumping 100 points as energy and materials shares gained while commodity prices strengthened.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 100.00 points, or 0.73 percent, at 13,797.45. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; editing by Rob Wilson)
