Toronto stocks jump 100 pts on resources, banks

TORONTO, March 5 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange’s main index jumped more than 100 points on Wednesday morning, buoyed by rising resource shares amid strong commodity prices, as well as a recovery in banking stocks.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 101.99 points, or 0.8 percent, at 13,578.80.
