Toronto stocks erase gains, drop 100 points
TORONTO, March 31 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index fell more than 100 points in afternoon trading during Monday's volatile session, shedding earlier gains as energy and materials shares retreated.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE fell 102.71 points, or 0.78 percent, to 13,131.08. Earlier, the benchmark touched a high of 13,335.95 before reversing course. (Reporting by Wojtek Dabrowski; Editing by Bernadette Baum)
