Toronto stocks end higher with help from RIM
TORONTO, April 3 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index advanced on Thursday, getting a boost from robust results from Research In Motion RIM.TO, but earlier gains were muted by soft energy and gold stocks.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed up 31.57 points, or 0.23 percent, at 13,545.71. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; editing by Rob Wilson)
