Toronto stocks up 100 points on positive sentiment
TORONTO, April 7 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock market index jumped more than 100 points at the open on Monday as firm commodity prices and a healthy turn in investor sentiment propped up the market.
Just after the open, the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 115.16 points, or 0.8 percent, at 13,783.35. ($1=$1.01 Canadian) (Reporting by Scott Anderson; Editing by Bernadette Baum)
