Toronto stocks drop, resource shares lead fall
TORONTO, April 24 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index, absorbing a rush of quarterly results, fell below the 14,000-level threshold on Thursday as negative outlooks from both Canadian and U.S. corporations disappointed investors.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE quickly dropped 103.65 points, or 0.75 percent, to 13,966.15, with energy and materials sectors leading the fall.
