Toronto stock index falls 200 pts on resource slide

TORONTO, April 29 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange’s main index skidded 200 points on Tuesday, yanked down by a selloff of resource shares as commodity prices retreated.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 200.01 points, or 1.42 percent, at 13,885.84. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; Editing by Peter Galloway)
