Toronto stocks jump 100 points at open

TORONTO, April 30 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange’s main index rose more than 100 points on Wednesday, emboldened by stronger-than-expected U.S. growth data and firm commodity prices.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 100.71 points, or 0.7 percent, at 13,926.31.
