Resource rally helps boost Toronto stocks
TORONTO, April 30 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index rose on Wednesday, boosted by a rally in resource issues, as well as optimism over corporate results and better than expected economic data south of the border.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed up 119.99 points, or 0.87 percent, at 13,945.59. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; editing by Rob Wilson)
