Toronto stock index up 200 points in broad rally
TORONTO May 2 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index headed higher on Friday, up more than 200 points as it benefited from strong corporate results, hot commodities and better-than-expected U.S. jobs data.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 200.24 points, or 1.4 percent, at 14,266.05, with eight of its 10 sectors in positive territory. ($1=$1.02 Canadian) (Reporting by Jonathan Spicer; Editing by Scott Anderson)
