Toronto stocks little changed as banks drag

TORONTO, May 5 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange’s main index ended little changed on Monday, as a selloff in banking shares amid more nervousness over financial markets overshadowed surging commodity prices.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 1.61 points, or 0.01 percent, at 14,278.67. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; editing by Rob Wilson)
