Toronto stocks slide as materials, banks fall

TORONTO, May 21 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange’s main index sagged 100 points on Wednesday afternoon in a see-saw session, while shares in the material and banking sectors fell.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 101.33 points, or 0.67 percent, at 14,946.01. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; editing by Renato Andrade)
