Toronto stocks rise with help from gains in oils

TORONTO, May 26 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index ended higher in light volume on Monday as the energy sector pushed up amid gains in oil and a report that Talisman Energy TLM.TO could be an acquisition target.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed up 46.99 points, or 0.32 percent, at 14,770.35. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; Editing by Peter Galloway)
