Commodities drag Toronto stocks lower
TORONTO May 27 (Reuters) - Toronto stocks dropped more than 100 points near the open on Tuesday as weak gold prices and a reversal in the price for oil weighed on the resource-heavy market.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 100.52 points, or 0.7 percent, at 14,658.05. ($1=$0.99 Canadian) (Reporting by Scott Anderson; editing by Renato Andrade)
