Toronto stocks tumble as resources take hit

TORONTO, May 27 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index extended its declines on Tuesday morning, sliding 200 points as energy and other resource issues were knocked lower by weak commodity prices.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 202.81 points, or 1.4 percent, at 14,555.76. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; editing by Rob Wilson)
