Toronto stocks jump early on buoyant resources

TORONTO, May 30 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index shot up more than 100 points early on Friday, lifted by its resource sectors as commodity prices rose across the board.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 103.31 points, or 0.7 percent, at 14,680.48 with nine out of the 10 main sectors on positive terrain. ($1=$0.99 Canadian) (Reporting by Jonathan Spicer; Editing by Scott Anderson)
