Toronto stocks ride robust resources higher

TORONTO, May 30 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index pushed higher on Friday, helped by a late-day advance in resource issues, which enjoyed the benefit of stronger commodity prices.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed up 151.85 points, or 1.04 percent, at 14,729.02. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; editing by Rob Wilson)
