Toronto stocks propelled by gains in resources

TORONTO, June 2 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index finished a choppy session strongly higher on Monday, lifted by gains in energy and other resource issues.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed up 93.17 points, or 0.63 percent, at 14,807.90. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; editing by Rob Wilson)
